Posted on 19th May 2016 | News
Three Year 12 pupils took part in the British Physics Olympiad Competition in March. This is an annual competition organised by the University of Oxford which aims to encourage the study of Physics and recognise excellence in young physicists. The competition demonstrates the real-world problem-solving potential of Physics and tests young people’s understanding and problem-solving skills. Well done to our three competitors: John Walker, Lorcán Toner and Dermot O’Neill who each achieved a Commendation Award.
