On Friday 17 December 2017, Year 12 pupil, Mark Comer, visited BBC Headquarters in Belfast to complete his participation in BBC Radio 4’s Pen Pals programme.

The aim of this programme was to pair pupils from across Northern Ireland with six poets from the UK who would engage in written correspondence and share information about their countries, hobbies, interests and lives. Mark was paired with acclaimed poet, Lemn Sissay, and he shared extracts from their letters during his recording at the BBC.The Pen Pals programme was broadcast on Radio 4 on Boxing Day 2017.
