Congratulations to fourteen of our Year 12 pupils and eight of our Year 13 pupils who recently took part in the British Physics Olympiad competitions. Year 12 pupils completed the GCSE Physics Challenge while the Year 13 pupils completed the AS Physics Challenge.

Both competitions involved pupils completing a one hour paper consisting of multiple-choice and short answer sections that tested their knowledge  and understanding of basic physical principles. Participation in the competitions provided pupils with the opportunity to stretch their lateral thinking skills and apply fundamental physical principles to novel situations.
