INVESTORS IN MENTAL HEALTH GOLD AWARD FOR ST. MARY’S

St. Mary’s Grammar School, Magherafelt has been presented with a Gold Award in the Aware NI Investors in Mental Health Awards 2024 in the Recognising Education category.  These awards aim to provide recognition to schools who are making a significant contribution to the promotion of positive mental health in Northern Ireland.   

Aware is the depression charity for Northern Ireland and the only charity working exclusively for those with depression and bipolar disorder. 

On Friday 8 November 2024, Mr Quinn (Senior Leader) and Mrs McNeill (Head of Year 13) attended an awards ceremony in the Europa Hotel, Belfast where they collected the Gold Award on behalf of St. Mary’s.

Congratulations to all the pupils and staff who have been involved in or supported initiatives within St. Mary’s to promote positive mental health and emotional well-being within our school community.
