Faith Education

Religious Education is an important component of Faith Development in St. Mary’s.

All students in Years 8-12 follow a taught programme of Religious Education delivered by subject specialists which covers a range of themes and topics. Through the Religious Education curriculum, young people grow in their understanding and appreciation of their own religion, as well as significant aspects of other Christian traditions and major world religions.

Religious Studies is available as a taught programme at AS and A2 Levels for interested students. All students in Year 13 and 14 attend regular lectures by Guest Speakers as part of a General RE programme.
