STUDYING FRENCH: A WORLD OF POSSIBILITIES
On Friday 25 January 2019, five Year 13 French students - Rhiannon Quinn, Conor Bradley, Una Campbell, Declan Murray and David Cosgrove - had the opportunity to attend an AS Level French Day at Queen’s University, Belfast.
The event was supported by the Association for the Study of Modern and Contemporary France (ASMCF). The students had the opportunity to take part in a number of workshops and skills-based sessions on topics studied in French at university level. They were able to meet with final year French students and learn more about working and studying in French-speaking countries. Students were also invited to attend a number of presentations by graduates on how studying French has opened professional doors for them. The students thoroughly enjoyed this insight into the breadth of opportunities that exist through studying French today.
