The GCSE, AS and A2 Art and Design Students from St Mary’s Grammar School recently attended the annual ‘True Colours’ Exhibition at the Ulster Museum in Belfast. The pupils found the exhibition to be inspirational and beneficial as the work displayed an exceptional standard of work created at GCSE, AS and A2 level throughout Northern Ireland. Head of department, Mrs N McKernan added, “The exhibition displayed the outstanding GCSE work of St Mary’s Art & Design student, Emily Quinn, of which we are very proud.” Students were also fortunate enough to go on a guided tour of paintings by the artist Rembrandt at the Ulster Museum and all students attended a talk by the Fine Artist, Keith Ayton. Gabriela Kacprzyk said, ‘The True Colours exhibition was spectacular as always.”
