Life Advocate Award Essay Competition

Posted on 15th March 2018 | GeneralNews

The Life Advocate Award Essay Competition is a prestigious award which receives a tremendous response from students all across Ireland. The annual essay-writing competition was set up to encourage research and critical thinking on right-to-life issues.

In 2018, students were asked to discuss the words of St. Mother Teresa who said: “Human rights are not a privilege conferred by government. They are every human being’s entitlement by virtue of his humanity.” Pictured are Year 13 student Niamh Walls and Year 12 students Lauren Toner and Una Campbell who have entered this year’s competition. We wish them every success with their entries.
