On Tuesday 10th October A Level and GCSE Drama pupils attend the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre in Dublin to see the thrilling, soaring and spectacular, Miss Saigon

This epic love story tells the tragic tale of young bar girl Kim, orphaned by war, who falls in love with an American GI called Chris - but their lives are torn apart by the fall of Saigon.

With an exceptional score, lavish sets and an outstandingly talented cast and a company of 60, Miss Saigon has played in 29 countries, 353 cities and has won 70 major theatre awards. In 2015 it swept the boards of the Whatsonstage Awards with a record-breaking 9 wins, including Best West End Show.

Our pupils were blown away by this magnificent performance and some have already booked to go a second time! It was a late return to school with a few sleepy heads the next day but well worth it for this unmissable and unforgettable theatrical experience.
