On Tuesday 19 March 2019, St. Mary’s was delighted to welcome Fr. Damien Quigley to speak to Year Eleven General RE pupils.

Fr. Damien, who serves in Middle Killeavy in the Armagh Diocese, is a member of the Chaplaincy Team in Daisy Hill Hospital, Newry and is also a member of the Diocesan Vocations Commission.  His talk was titled ‘Time to Answer the Call?’ and explored different types of vocations.  During the address, Fr. Damien shared his own testimony of discerning God’s will for his life.  He noted how deciding to follow God’s will for him did not make everything in his life perfect, but gave him a kind of joy nothing else in the world could.  After sharing his testimony, Fr. Damien answered students’ questions.
